Stratford

If you’re travelling to Stansted Airport from East London, getting the train from Stratford makes sense. Stratford is on the Central and Jubilee lines, the DLR and has good connections with London Overground. You’ll need to change at Tottenham Hale (13 minutes away), and from there it’s just 36 minutes to the airport.
